A familiar example

A rule-based game player can be AI without learning. A small learned spam classifier is ML. A neural image classifier can be deep learning. A text-generating model is generative AI and may also use deep learning. One system can fit several descriptions.

Break it down

1. Identify the input: what information is available?
2. Describe the operation or pattern being used.
3. Identify the output and how you would check it.
4. Name one mistake the system could make.
