01 · Understand the idea
In simple words
Python is a programming language used to describe instructions for a computer. Its data libraries make it convenient to inspect tables and experiment with models. You do not need to memorise a whole library to begin. First learn how to create a small table, examine values and explain what each column means.
Two useful terms
Library: reusable code for common tasks. DataFrame: a table-like data structure used by pandas.
Build your understanding
A dataset is not ready simply because it loads successfully. Inspect column names, types, missing values and units before modelling. This example uses a small in-memory table so you can focus on reasoning without downloading personal or sensitive data.
