We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Engineer Trainee to join the Platform Development Team at L&T EduTech. The role involves contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications and digital platforms. The candidate will work closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and user-friendly technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and platform solutions.
- Develop and enhance frontend components using React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Support backend development using Node.js, Express.js, and related technologies.
- Assist in building and integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL for data management and application development.
- Support third-party API integrations and enhancement of existing platform functionalities.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
Who can apply?
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
Working knowledge of Node.js and backend application development.
Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
Basic knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and MongoDB.
Familiarity with Git, software testing, debugging, and application development practices.
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Skills you’ll bring
Exposure to Python and frameworks such as FastAPI.
Basic understanding of AI/LLM applications, RAG, and semantic search.
Familiarity with Docker, AWS/Azure, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
