A Junior AI Developer builds and integrates artificial intelligence and machine learning features into software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
What you’ll do
- Write, test and iterate prompts for client chatbots and internal tools.
- Prepare and maintain the content that retrieval pipelines read from.
- Review real conversations, log where the model failed, and propose fixes.
- Build small scripts and internal tools under senior review.
- Keep clear written notes on what you tried and what happened.
Who can apply?
0 to 2 years of experience, plus at least one LLM side project you can show and explain in detail.
Comfortable in Python or JavaScript: you can read someone else's code and change it without breaking it.
You can call an API, read its docs, and debug the response yourself before asking.
Basic Git and basic SQL.
Careful with detail, and honest when something does not work.
Skills you’ll bring
You have used the raw Claude or OpenAI SDKs; that counts for more here than framework experience.
A CS or related degree helps, but a strong side project matters more to us than where you studied.
You have deployed something other people actually used, even if it was twenty classmates.
